Lee Edwards Obituary
We announce the death of Lee Edwards (Zebulon, North Carolina), who passed away on September 21, 2026, at the age of 81. Lee will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Lee will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Lee will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Lee’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas and Mozelle Ruth Hagwood Edwards; and his siblings, Ruth, Catherine, Betty Ann, Wallace and Harold.
He is survived by: his brother Bobby Wayne Edwards (Esperanza) of Alexandria, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens (809 W Gannon Ave, Zebulon, NC 27597).
