She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Royster and Kiva Lee Horton; her husband Worth Bagley O'Neal; her son Gary O'Neal; her grandson Jason Garrett O'Neal; and her sister Hilda Horton.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Alvin O'Neal (Donna), Wayne Allen O'Neal (Karen) and Donna Newsome (Greg); her grandchildren, Tifney Bunn (Marcus), Wayne O'Neal, Jr. (Tina), Jennifer O'Neal, Fallon Bunn and Justin Bunn (Jennifer); her stepgrandchildren, Mackenzie Newsome and Travis Newsome; and her daughter-in-law Teresa O'Neal. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gethsemane Memorial Gardens (809 W Gannon Ave, Zebulon, NC 27597).
