It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Shepherd Young of Zebulon, North Carolina, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Frances Knox Alexander; her former life partner Dennis Young; and her sister Jennifer Rabideau. She is survived by : her fiancé Kenneth Wayne Keteles Sr.; her children, Samantha Nicole Young, Tiea Whaley (Danny) and James Logan Young; her father Dorsey "Smitty" Shepherd III; and her brother Darrell Flowers. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
