It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramona Gonzalez (Zebulon, North Carolina), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Ramona departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ramona may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ramona leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joaquina Ruiz and Juan Ruiz; her husband Luis; her siblings, Ana, Virginia, Jorge and Carmelo; and her granddaughter Emily Hope.
She is survived by: her sons, Luis Gonzalez (Shirley) and Edward (Betsy); and her brothers, Juan and Jose. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family.
