With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Paul Maynard of Zebulon, North Carolina, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude G. Maynard and Bonnie Brown Maynard of Atlanta, GA; and his brother Tom Maynard of Parker, CO.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lapp Maynard; his sons, Kevin Paul Maynard (Mary) of Eaton, CO and Chad Lee Maynard; his sisters-in-law, Donna Maynard of Grand Junction, CO and Jo Lapp of Bailey, NC; and his sibling's children, Kendra Harman (Derrick) of Morrison, CO and Derrick Maynard of Grand Junction, CO.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Richard has requested his funeral to be private and in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Richard's name to be sent to a charity of your choice.
