With sadness, we share the passing of Richard Bruce Rife of Zebulon, North Carolina. Richard, born on August 26, 1937, passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Halsey Rife and Ruth Marrs Rife; his wife Pauline Morgan Rife; his children, Paul Gregory "Greg" Rife and Wendy Whittington; his brother Douglas Rife; and his grandson Brandon Cole Rife.
He is survived by: his children, Vernon E. Rife (Pat) of Louisburg and Lisa Edwards (Neil) of Zebulon; and his grandchildren, Tracey Rife, Eric Rife (Jessica), Steven Abernathy (Kelly), Heather Edwards, Amanda Denton and Tyler Rife. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel (211 W 3rd St, Wendell, NC 27591). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
