Rose Elizabeth Nance Obituary
Rose Elizabeth Nance, 81, passed away on April 28, 2025 at Zebulon Rehabilitation. Rose was born on September 24, 1943 to the late Buck and Gladys Perry. In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Lane Nance; her son, Bobby Wade Jones, a daughter, Pamela Annette Draughan, her sisters, Brenda Perry and Carolyn Ray; and her brother, Robert Earl Perry.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Kathy Thompson (Doyle), Mandy Ellington (Gregg), and her daughter-in-law, Angela Franklin; her eight grandchildren, Tiffany Frie (Eric), Gary Wheeler (Shannon), Britany Phillips (Tyler), Brianna Ellington, Kayla Ellington, Desiree Mastro (Jordan), Dale Draughan, and Savana Hinely (Landon); her16 great-grandchildren, Madison, Jaylin, Kiara, Gabriel, Devon, Fayth, Rylan, Kason, Adrian, Christian, Landon, Sabastian, Mela, Desmond, Remy, and Willa; her one great-great-grandchild, Asher; and her one niece, Robyn.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. Franklinton, NC 27525, with Pastor Spencer Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
