He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ludwig and Josie Ludwig; his wife Mae Thelma Kvalen; his son Neil; his siblings, Duane Ludwig (Hennie) and Adelle Berve (Orville); his brother-in-law Fred Kvalen (Mable); his niece Jolene Hovda; his brother-in-law Marvin Dahl; and his son-in-law Tony Kulig.
He is survived by: his daughters, Colette Nybakken (Jack) of Minot and Marla Kulig of Minot; his grandchildren, Brekka Kramer (Jonn Knecht), Blake Nybakken (Mary), Gabe Nybakken (Amanda), Anthony Kulig (Kelly Smith), Keli Kramer (Matt) and Gage Kulig (Lisa); his great grandchildren, Haley and Emma Kramer; and his grandchildren, Julia, Jack, Margo, Ward Nybakken, Hans Nybakken, Luca Kramer, Klay and Gina Kulig.
Memorials: are preferred to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) or to an organization of the donor's choice.
