He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lenoir and Delphine Lenoir (Azure); his grandsons, Jeffrey Morin Jr., Matthew Lenoir, Joseph Bruce Jr. and Marlin Troy Lenoir III; his siblings, Joseph, Louis, Marlin Troy, Roger, Bob, Dominic "Doc", Daniel "Hot Dog" Lenoir, Bernadette "Bunny" Van and Carol Bahl; and his close friend Sue Buck.
He is survived by: his children, Marlin Troy Sr. Lenoir (Heather) of Grand Forks, ND, Trina Lee Morin (Jeff) of Belcourt, ND, Miranda Victoria Patnaude (Joe) of Grand Forks, ND, Dustin Grunewald (Desiree) of Cottonwood, MN and Brandon James Lenoir of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Lakeesha Morin, Marlin Troy Jr. Lenoir, Skyler Poitra, Devon Morin, Megan Demery (Rocky), Micaelyn Lenoir, Mikena Lenoir, Alex Patnaude, JoZetta, Jolyn, Stacy Bruce, Jimmy Jo, Jamie Jo Burnett, Colin Lerum, McKenzy, Myha Grunewald and Theodore Tollefson; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Xannon, Frankie, Charlee Lenoir, Jayde, Teairra Demery, Connor, Hank Cree, Shaleigha Phelps, Anthony DeCoteau, Caliann and Cali Morin; his siblings, Leo Lenoir and Jean "Cook" Allery; and his close friends, Linda Azure and June Boyer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
