He is survived by: his children, Florian Schnabel (Leona Pfiefle) of Kulm and Felisa Mastel (Wayne) of Wahpeton, ND; his grandchildren, Dylan Schnabel (Jen), Dalton Schnabel (Christian Maggio), Jessica Robinson (Parker) and Joncy Thorpe (Nathan); his sister Shirley Essig (Clyde); and his sister-in-law Vangie Kinzler. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
