He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel and Ruth Miller (Breitling); his brother David; his stepson-in-law Kurt Doerr (Sandra); Otto and Olivia Groszhans.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" Miller (Nadine) of Williston, ND and Robyn Miller of Ashley; his stepchildren, Van Gross (Deanna) of Edgeley, ND, Tammy Doerr of Minot, ND, Terri Lang (Todd) of Strasburg, ND and Nancy Horton (Joe) of De Soto, MO; and his granddaughter Kaydence of Williston. He is also survived by six step grandchildren; and nine step great grandchildren.
