He is survived by: his wife Ede Houle (Olson); his daughter Cathy Shirek (Todd) of Hettinger; his grandchildren, Michael and Emily; his son Mike Houle (Sona) of Bismarck; and his grandchildren, Megan, Hannah and Davis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and a wide circle of friends.
