He is survived by: his pet Pike; his children, Dan (Denise) of Bismarck, ND, Zachary, Jacob, Noah, Mark (Stephanie) of West Fargo, ND, Nicholas, Brayden, Makenna, Monique Heizelman (Dennis) of Rapid City, SD, Dyson (Abigale), Destinee, Drake, Dixon, James of Grand Rapids, MI, Hunter, Chloe, Riley, Dalanie, Bonita Gorghuber (Eric) of Garfield, MN, Mason, Robert (Michele Anthony) of Johnston, IA, Gavin, Landon, Elizabeth Greenwood (William III) of Cascade, MT, David (Vanessa) of Sentinel Butte, ND, Gabe, Elijah and Isaiah; his great grandchild Desmond Heizelman of Broken Bow, NE; his siblings, Leroy (Marina), Tom (Donna), Marge Emter, Janet Ripplinger (Ervin), Kathleen Goroski (Gerald) and Teresa Klippen (Wes); and his siblings-in-law, Clarence Fischer, Delbert Schulte (Sherry) and Marlene Bares.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (162 2nd Ave NE, Beach, ND 58621). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
