He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sr. DeLong and Mary Jane DeLong (DeCoteau); his sons, Darrell DeLong Jr. and Shane DeLong; his granddaughters, Lynelle LaVallie and Caleen Belgarde; and his brothers, Gary Lilley and Melvin DeLong.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary Ann Crissler of Belcourt; his children, Anna Davis (Orville) of Dunseith, Anthony DeLong Sr. of Belcourt, Christopher DeLong Sr. of Belcourt and Caroline DeLong of Belcourt; his grandchildren, Sarah, Philip, Courtney, Anthony Jr., Amber, Michael, Carol, Christianna, Christopher, Vance, Brittany, Seth, Brandi, Rachel, Deacon Jr. and Brehanna; and his brother Arthur DeLong Jr. (Claudia) of Belcourt. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (1115 Louis Riel Dr, Belcourt, ND 58316). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
