He was predeceased by: his parents, Isadore Azure and Rose Ann Azure (Enno); and his siblings, George, Peach and Linda Desjarlais.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Azure of Belcourt; his sons, Cory Azure of Belcourt and Levi Azure of Belcourt; his grandchildren, Liam Azure, Avery Gourneau and Loren Gourneau; and his siblings, Shirley Azure of Belcourt, Steven Azure (Eva) of Belcourt and Theresa Carr of Wellington, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery (1115 Louis Riel Dr, Belcourt, ND 58316).
