He is survived by: his wife Lori Martell of Belcourt; his children, Gilbert Martell (Leslie) of Grand Forks, Pamela Martell-Gladue (Terrance) of Belcourt, Jake Martell of Belcourt, Keara Martell of Belcourt and Taylor Davis of Belcourt; his grandchildren, Kaisee, Cash, Kaylee, Kendall, Aiden, Easton, Shaylor, Dulton, Gianna, Geowana, Kenlei, Mia, Analeigh, Wyatt and Ronin; his great grandchildren, Zimmeria, Ziya and Zion; and his siblings, Frank Martell of Belcourt, Sandra Martell of Belcourt, Stella Renault (Gary) of Belcourt, Carol Belgarde of Belcourt and Betty Marcellais (Richard) of Belcourt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Lynn Gourneau Round House. A rosary will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
