With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sharon Gail Martin of Belcourt, North Dakota, born in Rolla, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2025 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her close friend Dennis PoniCappo; her stepchildren, Dennis PoniCappo Jr. and Denise PoniCappo; and her grandchildren, Forest Webber and Nathaniel LeBeau.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Martin (Tina) of Belcourt, Crystal PoniCappo of Bottineau, Christopher PoniCappo of Belcourt and Cecelia PoniCappo of Belcourt; her stepchildren, Memory PoniCappo of Rolla, Nevesa PoniCappo (Dominic LittleOwl) of Billings, MT and Dorrit Eagleventer (William) of Poplar, MT; and her siblings, Pat Martin (Maria) of Minneapolis, MN, Dennis Martin of Belcourt, Betty Martin of Belcourt, Rita DeCoteau (Alfred) of Dunseith, Jeanie Parisien of Belcourt, Gaylene Martin of Belcourt, Charles Martin of Belcourt and Randy Martin of Belcourt. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
