He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barnhardt Jr. and Flora Barnhardt (Lipp); his siblings, Kenneth, William, Robert (Paulette), Annette Voth and Alice; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Pfleger, Jim Berg and Beverly Kessler (Ray).
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Barnhardt; his children, Tamara Leetun (Darin), Michelle Edwards (Mark), Bryanne, Brad Barnhardt (Jennifer), Brayson, Addyson, Caleb, Justin Barnhardt (Channing), Scott Barnhardt (Kathryn), Owen and Emma; and his sister Helen Pfleger. He is also survived by several sisters and brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews; extended family member; and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project in honor of Dennis's lifelong dedication to his country and his fellow veterans.
