She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Joslin and Cora Joslin (Boyer); her son-in-law Brady Sims; her siblings, Russel, Irene Anderson, Betty Hummer, Alta Wilson and Stella Joslin; and her brothers-in-law, Oliver Anderson and Floyd Warner.

She is survived by: her husband John L. Slinde; her children, Connie Sims, Judy Slinde, Beth (Mike Barschaw) and Kent Slinde; her grandchildren, Kaisha Theobold (Sims), Jamie Jenson, Christopher, Michael Leitch and Jonathan Barschaw; her great grandchildren, Hendrix and Foster Theobold; and her sister Hazel Warner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family request that memorials be made to SMC Hospice or Hazen Public Library.
