He was predeceased by: his parents, Reinhold Erdmann and Mary Erdmann; his stepfather Matt Leitheiser; his siblings, Archie, Cecil and Verna; and his great grandchild Gaige Fiebelkorn.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Jesser; and his children, Tim (Janice), Tom (Julee), Doug (Vickie), Brenda Hertz (Doug), Barb Gesellchen (Dean) and Mary Mauch (Kelly). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
