Arva touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Arva’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Keszler and Freda Keszler (Hoffer). She is survived by: her husband Bruce Benz (Bismarck); her sons, Daniel Benz (Arliss) of Lake Tapps, WA and Tom (Lisa); her grandson Tyler Benz of Lake Tapps, WA; and her sister Bonnie (Dennis) Schlittenhardt (Bismarck). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many loving cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the McCabe United Methodist Church (1030 N 6th St, Bismarck, ND 58501).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Music Programs at McCabe, reflecting Arva's Dell's lifelong passion for music, faith, and community.
