He is survived by: his brother Lee Strand (Corky); his daughter Michele; his foster brother John Hruby (Jean); his children, Richard Strand (Deborah) and Sindy Schmitz (Burt); his grandchildren, Lindsey Novak (Jerame), Kirk Strand (Danielle), Cordell Schmitz (Abby) and Kayla Wiest (Austin); his great grandchildren, Grant, Reese and Lydia Novak; his grandchildren, Ella, Alex Strand, Colter, Emory, Lainey Schmitz, McCoy and Claire Wiest; his niece Sherry Leno (Roubal); his nephews, Wes and Terry Roubal; and also, Jeff and Jay.
