The passing of Betty Lenihan (Bismarck, North Dakota) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 98. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Anderson and Lillian Anderson (Wilton); her husband Merton Lenihan; her siblings, Margie Cleveland, Yvonne Bailey and Bobby Anderson; and her sister-in-law Cleo Asbridge.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Martin (Jim) and Tom Lenihan (Boni); her grandchildren, Joshua Martin (Raenae), Matthew Martin (Sophie), Casey Crowley (Jay) and Carly Lenihan; her great grandchildren, Tatum, Parker, Grady, Kirra, Teagan, Kade, Brooks and Chloe; her sister-in-law Wanda Fischer; and her aunt Esther McMullin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (502 N 4th St, Bismarck, ND 58501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (1313 E Century Ave, Bismarck, ND 58503). She was also a leader in many organizations, most notably YMCA, RSVP, 4-H Clubs and Folkfest.
