She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Geist and Nellie Geist (Wollschlaeger); her husband Floyd Aichele; her daughter Tari LaLonde; her brothers, Richard and Adrian (Butch); her siblings-in-law, Glen Aichele, Leroy Aichele and Luella Rath (Ben); her grandson Rusty Aichele (RJ); her aunt Esther; and her in-laws, Jerry Buck and Evelyn Aichele.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Aichele of Bismarck and Scott Aichele (Mary Senger) of Bismarck; her grandchildren, John Lalonde, Michele Hintz (Kadon), James LaLonde (Leah), Kristina Schantz (Ryan), Austin Aichele, Calvin Aichele and Zachary Aichele; her great grandchildren, Parker Hintz, Owen Hintz, Hannah Hintz, Winona LaLonde, Mackenzie Schantz and Calin Schantz; her brother Roger Geist (Liz); and her niece Sherri.

She worked at the Heartview Foundation for 17 years and at the ND Youth Correctional Center for 12 years.
