Carol McDonald Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Carol McDonald of Bismarck, North Dakota. Carol, born on March 14, 1939, passed away on July 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Haapoja and Helmi Haapoja (Parvey); her husband Kayo; her grandson Tyler; and her siblings, Marlene Jorgenson, Kenny and Bill Haapoja.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Buttram-McDonald (Jay), Terry McDonald (Robyn) and Barb Coyle (Doug); her granddaughters, Tahnee Ruud (Mychael), Brannigan Hamrick, Delaney Coyle and Taryn Zachman (Mitch); her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Chet McDonald, Mylo Ruud, Harper, Ames, Lux Hamrick, Weston, Blake and Dillon Zachman; and her sisters-in-law, Estelle and Vonda Haapoja. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in Carol's honor to the Hannah Cemetery Fund.
