Carol Strobel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Strobel of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Carol may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Brown and Marjorie Brown; her husband Marvin Strobel; and her sister Sharon Hokstad. She is survived by: her children, Bridget Roll (Mike) and Kelly Mathisen (Char); her stepchildren, Lorelei Sullivan, Jon Strobel and Denielle Connelly; her siblings, Shirley Larson (Glen) and Rodney Brown (Colleen); and her brother-in-law Robert Hokstad.
A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
