Catherine G. Hanson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine G. Hanson (Bismarck, North Dakota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Craven and Elizabeth Craven (Hanks); her husband Melvin Hanson; her siblings, Lillian Craven, Buryl (Ernest Doehle), Lucile (Russell Heaton), Calvin, Bernard, James, Gerald and Donavon Craven; her son-in-law Steve; and her in-laws, Alice Hanson, Adeline, George Reinke, Hazel, Donald Peterson, Janice, Verner Hanson, Mable, Lyle Schultz and Timothy Shearer.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hanson (Darlyne), Deanna Lindenfelser (Ron) of Corcoran, MN, Kevin Hanson (Kathy) of Mobile, AL, Janine Ess (Steve) of Columbia Heights, MN and Craig Hanson of Brooklyn Center, MN; her grandchildren, Eric, Amanda, Breann, Katie, Nick, Devin and Freya; her great grandchildren, Hadley, Ava, Audrey, Jonah, Simon and Michael; her sister Elizabeth Ennen; and her sisters-in-law, Esther Shearer of Glendive, MT and Arleen Carter of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (502 N 4th St, Bismarck, ND 58501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
