He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Cheri Thomsen (Mark) and Kevin Nelson; and his grandchildren, Seth Thomsen, Allison Frohlich (Lincoln), Uryah and Kinzlie Nelson. He is also survived by Six brothers, 2 sisters, 5 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law as well as lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Mandan Union Cemetery.
