He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindy Lein and Marlys Lein of Wing, ND.; his wife DiAnn Lein; his sister Nancy Flint; and his brother-in-law Richard Novy.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad Lein (Dara) and Nic Lein (Tanya Buchanan); his stepchildren, Tootie Hatzenbuehler (Jim) and Dion Ehlis; his sister Barb Novy; his grandchildren, Dillon, Madison, Brayden and Easton Lein; and his stepgrandson Hunter Hatzenbuehler. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
