He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Thorstenson and Oscar Thorstenson; his brother Chuck Thorstenson (Bub); and his sister-in-law Lori Thorstenson. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Paulson; his children, Rene Murry (Chuck), Linda Kringstad (Tod) and Craig Thorstenson (Robin); his grandchildren, Ben Kringstad (Jill), Marit Murry-Aguilar (Josh) and Jessie Murry; his great grandchildren, Ella Rae and Avery Kringstad; his brother Kenneth Thorstenson (June); his nephews, Rod, Steve, Tad, David Thorstenson and Tim Thorstenson; and his niece LeeAnn Short (Paul).
The family also requests that any donations be made to Carrie's Kids or First Lutheran church in lieu of flowers.
