He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Elsbernd and Marie Elsbernd. He is survived by: his sisters, Donna Granrud and Diane Albrightsen (Steve); and his children, Doug Granrud (Della Rae), Deborah Granrud, Denise Granrud, Dean Granrud, Dale Jr. Granrud and Delarie Granrud.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
