Douglas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Douglas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Douglas will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Rittel and Viola Rittel (Kaiser). He is survived by: his wife Bert Mayher (Hellwig); his children, Jason Mayher (Corrie) and Jennifer Klesalek (Kerry); his granddaughter Haley Klesalek of Bismarck, ND.; and his brothers, Fredrick Rittel (Teresa) of Minot, ND, David of Bismarck, ND and James Rittel of Bismarck, ND. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Doug requested that memorials be directed to a charitable organization of your choice.
