He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Kubik and Catherine Kubik (Pedeliski); his siblings, Jerome and Bernie; his nephews, Dion and Brian; and his brother-in-law Ray Ereth.
He is survived by: his children, Stacy Laubsch and Ryan Kubik; his grandchildren, Brittany, Jessica, Dakota, McKinsey, Mercedes, Mariah, McKayla and Madison; his siblings, Rosie Ereth, Jim "Heinz" Kubik, Kathy Geck (Dennis), Roger Kubik (Karen), Rick Kubik (Barb), Adrian Kubik, Rita Duckwitz (Will), Tim Kubik (Janice), Joanne Thomas (Jerry), Yvonne Kubik and Ronnie Kubik; and his caregiver Rachel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (309 4th Ave NW, Mandan, ND 58554). A Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Ascension Catholic Church (1825 S 3rd St, Bismarck, ND 58504).
