She was predeceased by: her parents, John J. Martel and Erna C. Lahr (Boeshanz); her grandparents, Robert, Elizabeth Beoshanz, Theobold and Justine Martel; her stepfathers, Dr. John Cartwright and Ed Lahr; and her stepsister Debbrah Cartwright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dennette Zenker, Gwen "Wendy" Backman (Ryan) and Erna Flint (Steve Smith) of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandson Christopher Amble (Paityn Fode); her great grandchildren, Calvin of Bismarck and Ridge of Bismarck; her granddaughter Brooklyn Zenker; her great grandchildren, Wyatt of Mandan and Jerilyn of Mandan; her granddaughter Elizabeth "Ella" Zenker-Gunther of Virginia Beach, VA; her siblings, Jennifer Romsaas (Lonnie), Bequia Martel (Aldo Cooper) of Missoula, MT and David Martel (Janice) of Port Angeles, WA; her niece Jodi Wolf (Ryan); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaxton and Denver; her nephew Kirk Romsaas (Carol); her great-nephew Reed; and her godchildren, Bradley Tibke, Steve Michlitsch and Elizabeth Dahlsad.
