She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Potts and Sarah Jane Potts (Skovgaard); her husband Harvey Trapp; and her siblings, Robert, Bill, Virginia, Laurie and Nancy.

She is survived by: her children, Travis Trapp (Melissa Discher) of Moorhead, MN and Kristen Kihle (Troy) of Bismarck, ND; her siblings, Sarah Jane "Sally" Lofthus of Nampa, ID, Patricia Burgum of Mobile, AL, Mary Charrier of Brooklyn Center, MN, Martin Potts (Julie) of Gwinner, ND and Rick Potts (Julie) of Chandler, AZ; her grandchildren, Paige, Taylyn and Peyton Kihle; and her sisters-in-law, Vione McCleary (Keith) of Marion, ND and Joan Trapp of Marion, ND. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends.

As an expression of sympathy, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Bismarck Capitals Legion Baseball team and the Bismarck Cancer Center.
