She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Thorson and Ida Thorson (Lyman); her husband Dick; her son Curtis; her son-in-law Errol; her grandson Toby; her great grandchild Justin; her great great grandchildren, Bennett and Sawyer; and her close friend Lola.
She is survived by: her former husband Allen Maynard; her granddaughters, June and Carol; her nephews, Steven and Calvin; her children, June Schlabach of Southbury, CT, Carol Berg (Larrel) of Minot, Julie Flinn (Rod) of Wilton, Dick Schacher of Wilton, Jim Schacher of Mandan and Tom Schacher (Paige) of Wilton; and her grandchildren, Andrea Yates (Tim), Melissa Hurt (Dale), Myla Buckeye (Eric), Steven Berg, Buck Schacher (Prisilla), Amy Schacher, Jacqueline Flikkema (David), Tyler Schacher (Kristi), Heather Wetch (Chris), Mandi Morrissette (Jason), Cash Schacher, Corrine Schlabach (Ian) and Levi Schacher. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A prayer will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
