He was predeceased by: his parents, August Fennern and Louise Fennern (Hoffmann); and his siblings, Mary Timm, Robert Fennern, James Fennern and Dorothy Moser.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Nikki Newland of Pulaski, TN, Jan Eckroth (Tom), Jody Henjum (Art) of Valley City, ND and John (Kristin) of Parker, CO; his grandchildren, Renee (Ken), Daniel, Rick, Jennifer (Tom), Christopher (Angie), Jessica, Morgan (Andy) and Hunter; and his sister Tudy Fennern of Bismarck. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
