He was predeceased by : his parents, John Vetter and Margaret Vetter (Bosch); his siblings, Barbara Mathern (Blasé), Mary Bosch (Joe), John Vetter (Helen) and Valentine Vetter (Isabella); and his brothers-in-law, Tom Wald and Joe Johs.

He is survived by : his wife Levina Johs; his daughter Sharon Schafer (Dean); and his sisters, Benadina Wald and Tillie Johs.
