He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon McLachlan and Signa McLachlan (Lee); his wife Sandra McLachlan (Berke); his parents-in-law, Obert Berke and Signe Berke (Opstad); and his brother-in-law Larry Gerjets.
He is survived by: his son Dante McLachlan (Nichole (Ische) McLachlan); his grandchildren, Riley McLachlan and Addison McLachlan; his siblings, Rodney McLachlan (Teresa (Berke) McLachlan) and Diane Reinholz (Jim Reinholz); and his sister-in-law Cheryl Gerjets (Berke). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Lord of Life Lutheran Church, or the Scottish Rite Speech Center.
