He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ziegler and Lydia Ziegler; his wife Darla Jeannette Lauer; and his siblings, Alice, Walter, Irvin, Herbert, Bill, Frieda, Martha, Esther Wall, Janet Wagner and Norma.
He is survived by: his children, Scott (Lisa) and Lee (Deborah); his stepgrandchildren, Ben Hilsen (Jenny), McKenzie Hilsen and Brandon Beaudoin (Laura); and his siblings, Arnold, Betty Waller and Roger. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503).
