He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schneider and Pauline Schneider (Dorrheim); his wife Dena; his siblings, Ida Heinle, Louise Hirning, Freida Opp, Bennie Schneider and Edwin Schneider; and his daughter-in-law Patty Schneider.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Schneider of Bismarck and Leland Schneider of Bismarck; and his sister-in-law Erma Achtenberg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
