She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Fehr and Ida Fehr (Krein); and her siblings, Walter Fehr (Agnes), Erna (Daniel Mowry), Viola (Arnie Sailer) and Howard.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra of Bismarck, ND, Tom (Jackie) and Don (Tressy) of White Earth, ND; her grandchildren, James (Ara), Troy (Kami), Megan Heinle, Lynn (Nikki) and Dennis Heinle; her stepgrandchildren, Diane Knudson and Trell Goebel; and her sister-in-law Violet Heinle. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Memorial Contribution. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Irene's memory to the First Baptist Church of Tioga, ND 58852.
