With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Iris Quandt of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Iris left this world on May 20, 2025 at the age of 101, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Peoples and Aplonia Peoples (Steinmetzer); her husband Marvin Quandt; her children, Bruce and Barbara Hildebrand; and her granddaughter Laurie Bischof.
She is survived by: her children, Sharren Goehring (Charles) and Joan Smeltzer (Robert); and her grandchildren, Brad Wood, Brian Wood, Tim Wood, Lisa Schmidt, Stacy Goehring, Doug Goehring, Angela Vincent, Cindy Ruzek, Ryan Kopp, Kim Kaye and Kristin Moody. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (3310 66th St SE, Lincoln, ND 58504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, Lincoln.
