He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Hofstad and Alta Hofstad (Mead); and his brother Alfred. He is survived by: his spouse Jan McQuire; his sister Kaye Upgren (Ted); his nephews, Randy (Pam) and Bob (Shaunna); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh, Jordan, Ethan, Bailey, Tayva and Siri; his nieces and nephews, Tammy Thomas (James Thompson), Tanya Thomas (Greg Jablonski), Scott and Jason Thomas; his great-nephews, Kade, Kruz Jablonski, Logan and Gavin Thomas; his great-niece Keely Jablonski of Mandan, ND; his brother Jeff Hofstad (Joy) of Bismarck, ND; his nieces and nephews, Michael (Olivia) of Mpls, MN, David of Denver, CO, Jerry Hofstad (Jen) of Casper, WY, Kylie Evanoff (Matthew) of Minot, ND and Laura Hofstad of Casper, WY; his great-nieces, Addy and Aurora of Minot, ND; his niece Jessie Hofstad; his great-nephew Ryder; Lucas.
