He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Hovland (Derek) of Fargo, Marshall Arnold of Tioga, Reid Arnold (Amanda) of Lignite, Joel Bird (Jennifer) of Bismarck and Julie Termine (Keith) of Lignite; his grandchildren, Skylar Retterath (Chris), Alexis Kreklau, Gabriella Bird, Lylianah Bird, Jayden Hovland, Trevor Kreklau, Drew Hovland, Oliver Bird and Avie Undjhem; his great grandchildren, Jay, Isla and Eden Retterath; his siblings, Roger Arnold, Bill Arnold (Connie) and Mary Jo Arnold; and his brothers-in-law, Marvin Achtenberg (Diane), Steve Achtenberg (Romae), Tim Achtenberg (Joan), Jeff Achtenberg (Joy), Dave Achtenberg (Roxanne) and Dwight Achtenberg (Janelle). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
