He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally Wright and James H Cope Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Pfalser (Jarrod), Taft Cope and Vaughn Cope; his stepson Jerod Mattison; and his grandchildren, Cadence and Henryk.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503).
