James Lee Wells Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lee Wells of Bismarck, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 17, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayden Lockey Wells and Clara Leota Wells-Richardson; his nephew Doug Luker; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Schwab-Varsoke. He is survived by: his son James; his wife Roxanne Wells; his stepsons, Trent Bossert and Evan Bossert (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Aubrey Bossert and Dylan Bossert; his siblings, Hayden Wells and Sondra Luker; his siblings-in-law, Judy Wells, Kay Junta, Brenda Regan (Kevin), Robin Taylor (Brad), Chris Varsoke and Todd Schwab (Julie); his nieces, Sandy Billecci (Frank) and Melissa Hibbard (Clayton); his nephew Cris Wells; his parents-in-law, Gerald Schwab and Ann Schwab; and his close friends, Randy Schwab, Rodney Mattern, Maddi Harris, Anthony Regan and Renato Tuazon. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Parkway Funeral Service (2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, ND 58503). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
