He was predeceased by: his father Dale Almer; his grandparents, Johnie, Regina Bender, Willis and Jennie Almer; his aunts, Roxann Giles and Tootie Bender; and his uncle Dennis Bender.
He is survived by: his mother Linda Almer; his sisters, Jennie Hettich (Damon), Cheryl Tucker (Dan) and Nikki Schneider (Rob); his brother-in-law Jeremy Birdsell; his niece Shayla Kauffman (Jordan); his nephew Layton Birdsell (Katrina); his great-nephew Lane; and his great-nieces, Harlee and Ada. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Legacy Methodist Church (4600 Durango Dr, Bismarck, ND 58503). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
