She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick William and Hazel Clapp (Morrow); her husband Roy Salem Towne; her grandsons, Weston Williams Towne and Shawn Liston Towne; and her sister-in-law Matilda Rupp (Towne).

She is survived by: her children, Anne (Dan DeKrey), Mary Jane (Kerry Denton), Alice Towne-Meyn of Bay Shore, NY and Roy S. Towne (Rusty); her daughter-in-law G'ail Towne; her brother-in-law Robert Rupp of Oak Park, MN; her grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer Denton, Salem, Tiffany Towne, A'lyce (Towne), Ryne Balzer, Andrew, Carlee DeKrey, Alicia Denton, Allison DeKrey, Ethan Meyn and Cameron Meyn; and her great grandchildren, Addison Balzer, Alivia Balzer, Lillian Towne and Matilda Towne.

Memorials may be made to St. George's Episcopal Church, God's Child Project and Scottish Rite Speech Therapy Center for Children.
