It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Ripplinger of Bismarck, North Dakota, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janet leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 9:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, February 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Bismarck Funeral Home (3723 Lockport St, Bismarck, ND 58503). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (1321 Braman Ave, Bismarck, ND 58501). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Veterans Cemetery (1825 46th St, Mandan, ND 58554).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Janet's memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, the American Cancer Society, or for her love of teaching to the United Way Backpack Program.
